Daigle

Jean Daigle arrived with his wife, Helene Bourg with the second group of settlers between 1789-1792. Jean Daigle received land grants in 1793 but apparently died by the 1794 census. There does not seem to have been any children from this marriage.

Helene's sister, Marie-Jacquemine, also married a Daigle. She married Olivier-Raphael Daigle in 1786 in France. It seems that Olivier died in France before 1789. Marie came to Pomquet with her sisters and later married Pierre-Josaphat Doiron. Olivier and Marie's only child, Ann, married Francois Landry at Pomquet.
