Pomquet
is 10 km. from Antigonish, Nova Scotia. There are two exits (35 & 36) from
the Trans Canada Highway (104) to the village of Pomquet on the SunriseTrail.

Come and visit us!
There's a special feeling of welcome! Friendly
people you meet everywhere you go or a walk in our Natural Provincial Park and Pomquet
Beach where you will find warm sand, wildlife and rare plants along the 1000 year old
dunes.
Stay for our
annual Salmon suppers which we have every year at our local parish hall, along with our
festivals and parades throughout the year.Visit our Roman Catholic church, constructed in
1861, over looking Pomquet Harbour.

and festivals, such as the Acadian Festival we have every year. If you like hiking,
swimming or outdoor activity, be sure to visit the Provincial Parks in the area and enjoy
the natural beauty of Pomquet Village. Come join us anytime!
Favorite meeting place for community celebrations such as Canada Day,
the Assumption (official acadian national day) and on labour day, when community members
gather with live music and good food.

can be seen in our hiking trails in the park. Learn about the endangered Piping Plover
which nests along our beaches.
